Vicki Iannotti Joins Pediatric Center

YONKERS, NY (October 2017)—The Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center is excited to welcome Vicki Iannotti, M.D., as its new Chief Medical Officer. The position was previously held by R. Gordon Hutcheon, M.D., who recently retired after 17 years at the Pediatric Center.

Dr. Iannotti, a board certified pediatrician, has spent her entire career working in Westchester County beginning at a private practice right here in Yonkers over 20 years ago. She comes to us from Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, where she was the Associate Chief of General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine for the last 12 years. Her career experience includes both the inpatient and outpatient care of thousands of children, medical student and pediatric resident education, clinical and quality improvement research and administration.

As the Pediatric Center’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Iannotti will oversee approximately 100 medical professionals including attending physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and pediatric subspecialists in cardiology, dentistry, orthopedics, pulmonology and more. Dr. Iannotti will also be charged with supervising quality improvement and safety, health information management, respiratory therapy services, infection control and prevention and laboratory services.

Dr. Iannotti received her Bachelor of Science from Fordham University and her doctoral degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Iannotti served on committees and workgroups at Westchester Medical Center, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and New York Medical College. She will continue to fulfill her commitment to education and research in pediatric medicine and the care of medically complex children through collaborative pathways with Boston Children’s Health Physicians, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and New York Medical College.

Dr. Iannotti lives in Westchester County. She is the mother of three and the sister of a special needs adult.
