All of the children here at the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center receive comprehensive rehabilitation services in occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech language pathology. Our specialized therapists provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans that meet and address the unique needs of each child. Therapy may also include prosthetic and orthotic fitting and evaluation, ambulation training with or without an assistive device, fabrication of adaptive seating systems, audiological testing and assessment of activities of daily living, hydrotherapy and therapeutic feeding programs.
Our approach to treatment is team-based within small neighborhood units with a focus on the resident and family. Our rehabilitation therapists provide an eclectic treatment approach to interventions which may include neurodevelopmental treatment, motor learning and sensory integration techniques.
